What ensemble or accessory did you last wear that truly got you noticed? Have you been able to rework it into your wardrobe? Being in the fashion industry for so many years, I’ve learned the importance of investing in a few key staples that one can easily mix and match to make a new outfit.
Here’s 3 of my favorites from Seattle based online boutique Kahini Kreative:
Pencil skirts are the perfect skirt. Sexy, body hugging, form flattering and the fact that I’ve been able to already wear it a few times with different tops makes this a must. I love that I can dress it up for business with a cute button down or throw on a sexy crop top for a night out on the town. Plus, this skirt is totally on trend this season, too being that it’s floral.
Classic red cherry clutch is timeless. When it comes to accessories, I’m a fan of sprinkling pops of color into one’s look and this bag is easy to rock. Whether it is a pair of denim and a tee to a fancy frock or just the way I’m modeling it, a red clutch will get you a lot of mileage while complementing your style.
Denim jackets prove every season to be pretty powerful pieces when it comes to outwear for editors, street style mavens and those in “the know.” There’s not one thing a denim jacket can’t look stylish with. By the way, denim everything is still trending for Spring 2015. If you haven’t tried the trend, now is the time.
